You are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the global online channels that help to expand Skullcandy's ecommerce presence and revenue. This includes marketplaces such as Amazon and Google Express and e-tailers such as Walmart.com and Target+. You will work closely with all members of the Digital team to create a cohesive digital brand, but will be focus on channels beyond Skullcandy.com branded websites.                                                         

A day in the life looks like:

70% Channel Coordination & Execution

  • As the front line of Skullcandy's e-tail and marketplace channels, you are responsible for auditing and optimizing the products and brand messaging in order to increase consumer consideration and conversion. This includes but is not limited to content, branding, SEO, and user experience.
  • Monitor and implement new reviews strategies to improve conversion on key products.
  • Collaborate with Legal team to address and prevent unauthorized sellers and MAP violations.
  • Coordinate new product launches (including new colorways) with internal stakeholders and external e-tail and marketplace vendors. Collaborate with marketing team on go-to-market strategies and be the voice of the e-tail/marketplaces team.
  • Complete weekly reporting tasks (both sell-in and sell-through) to be used by stakeholders including executives. Collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialist to build comprehensive reports that clearly describe the state of the Digital business.
  • Build a cross-functional relationship with the Sales Operations team that fosters accurate promo opt-in reporting and sales order execution.
  • Brief in e-tail specific marketing/pricing activations to the Marketing and Creative teams to acquire necessary assets. Communicate effectively with rest of Digital team to determine opportunities for cross-collaboration and promotion. Amazon's Prime Week is an example of one such campaign.
  • Execute campaigns online with precision and effectiveness.
  • Build and update brand campaigns on all channels to ensure that e-tail and marketplace channels match the global brand presence.

20% Business to Business (B2B) Coordination

  • Manage the daily Global B2B program inquiries inbox. This includes all request via skullcandy.com for bulk and customized product.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to: negotiate and quote pricing, collect relevant information, take payment, and fulfill orders.
  • Collaborate closely with Skullcandy Model Shop to manage work-back schedules and bandwidth constraints. Small amount of physical labor required to move product, unbox and re-box units, and ship orders.
  • Maintain detailed project management tools to keep orders on track and ensure customer delight.
  • Utilize operational tools to process orders and ensure correct payments and financial reconciliations.

10% New Channel Expansion

  • Assist with the implementation and growth of the ecommerce ecosystem by supporting the launch of new e-tail and marketplace channels.
  • Build product offering documents and gather launch content.

To love and be successful in this role, you will need to possess the below competencies, skills, and education.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, and 1 year Direct to Consumer D2C/B2B experience
