Talent Acquisition:

  • Owns the full-lifecycle recruitment process including recruitment strategy, requisition management, job postings, candidate scheduling, run of shows, interviewing, selection, references, offer and negotiation for all positions at HQ, Canada, and EU sites
  • Consult with hiring managers on recruitment and interview process; have an evolving and growing understanding of the organization's business model and financial goals and is able to apply this knowledge to talent strategies
  • Ensures backfills are within budgeted parameters; manages hiring spreadsheet and long-term hiring model
  • Instrumental in applying the business-driven selection and screening criteria to assist the hiring manager in selecting a qualified, diverse pool of candidates
  • Conduct portfolio and resume reviews, telephone/in-person screening of candidates and candidate tracking
  • Engage in timely and appropriate communications with all candidates, hiring managers, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Along with Brand, manage enhancing the careers site on, SKDY LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.
  • Set recruitment objectives and track progress; relays data to leadership
  • Be the expert in navigating and training of the ATS, ApplicantPro and manage global requisition process
  • Support implementation of HR strategies and initiatives in partnership with Sr HR Manager and leadership to develop talent acquisition and recruitment initiatives
  • Provide HRIS and ATS systems troubleshooting


  • Track and manage all payroll/compensation changes in HRIS (ADP) in partnership with Payroll Specialist
  • Complete bi-weekly payroll data entry for domestic employees in partnership with Payroll Specialist
  • Fundamental knowledge and understanding of Company compensation philosophy in regards to recruitment and candidate compensation being in-line
  • Works with Sr HR Manager to oversee annual merit and compensation increases, ensures data and HRIS changes, reflects required changes to payroll; assists with required reporting and review of company bonus payment when applicable
  • Successfully completes performance management process and review all submissions to ensure appropriate feedback practices are utilized
  • Oversee referral, peer to peer, and recognition programs; works to ensure payment
  • Utilizes company market metric tool to pull requested benchmark data; follows company procedures for compensation review


  • Reviews and coordinates revisions of policies, procedures, manuals and forms relating to human resources
  • Supports company training programs and initiatives
  • Creation and reporting of HRIS and Talent metrics; knowledge and understanding of report writing
  • Actively involved in the "Party Patrol" to assist with planning company events
  • May additionally plan company events tied to wellness and overall employee wellbeing (flu shot clinics, wellness days, lunch and learns, etc.
  • Manages company onboarding program and "Skull School" and leads new hire brunches
  • Manages new hire orientations processes and communications (internal/external/cross functional)
  • Completes Verification of Employment Requests and Wage Information Requests
  • Manages company digital onboarding system, Hireforms and completes pre-screening for hired applicants
  • Assists with updating the Employee Handbook
  • Escalates human resources concerns or investigations to Sr HR Manager or Corporate Counsel accordingly


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least 3-5 years related HR and full life-cycle recruiting experience
  • At least 2 years working HRIS experience, ADP preferred
  • Must have knowledge of interview skills, techniques, and employment laws
  • Strong communication skills, ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proven ability to assess applicant/candidate quality, skills and fit and identify the best candidate for a position
  • Must be organized and able to work in a chaotic, rapidly changing environment
  • Must be high energy and passionate about company culture, recruiting, and creating an exceptional workplace

  • ApplicantPro and/or Payfactors experience
  • Recruiting experience with technical positions (engineers, industrial designers, etc).
  • Background in consumer electronics or consumer goods manufacturing
