As Project Coordinator Channel Marketing, you are the critical bridge from Marketing/Brand/Creative teams to Channel Marketing's go-to-market activities. You will work closely with Channel as well as the Brand team to promote effective, successful workflows and project launches supporting company sales and marketing initiatives. You champion process and communication that is key to cross-functional teamwork and ultimately drives the Skullcandy consumers consideration and conversion at retail. Above all, the role requires a dedicated individual who understands project management as it relates to vendor relations, logistical timelines, internal work-flow processes and overall deadlines.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Production:

  • Drive Channel Marketing activities from kickoff through execution (definition, user experience, project management, and operations - from Channel Manager owner handoff through Visual Merchandising Operations)
  • Manage company go-to-market stakeholders, coordinating all Brand, Sales and product campaigns to successful launch and activation; provide feedback to Brand/Creative teams and final asset delivery to go-to-market teams
  • Own and drive company alignment and planning meetings (in collaboration with International Channel Marketing groups)
  • Responsible for production of fixtures/shippers/graphics across functional teams; enlist your team to execute production of all in-store displays, parts, demo units for on-time, on-budget, best in class execution
  • Onboard and manage Channel Marketing/Visual Merchandising outsourced vendors who will bring the go-to-market strategy alive in store globally
  • Serve as the liaison and reporting authority for Channel Marketing in coordination with the Director for cross departmental meetings to include product development and other marketing teams

Project Management:

  • Create, manage and socialize the department roadmap, calendar, project trackers and workback schedules
  • Manage and drive project trackers, keeping all Channel Marketing project deadlines and milestones known across the department; accountable for projects kept on time and to budget
  • Responsible for defining, aligning and implementing effective processes for Channel Marketing team workflows. Drive adoption of process, systems, and tools for Channel Marketing efficiencies

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years previous Production and Project Management experience
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in cross-functional environment
  • Ability to articulate Channel Marketing business needs cross-departmentally and amidst friction
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven aptitude for learning and desire for success
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills, excels in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates confidence in making instinctual decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Obsessive about providing frictionless consumer experience
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and logistics management (a plus)
  • Previous experience with Basecamp, Jira and Dropbox (a plus)
  • Retail and digital merchandising experience (a plus)
