The Insights Analyst will stay on the pulse of audio and gaming consumers and uncover insights that drive growth for the Skullcandy brand. The position will develop and maintain both qualitative and quantitative research to support sales, brand and innovation strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze complex data sets to uncover key insights for the business
  • Manage NPD data reporting, analysis & synthesis, proactively providing insights to the executive, sales and product teams to help drive product roadmap and distribution decisions
  • Maintain brand tracker dashboards and report on key performance metrics for the marketing team including market share, social media metrics and more
  • Field and maintain ongoing NPS studies
  • Grow and maintain consumer research panels across multiple platforms
  • Build quantitative and qualitative research on multiple topics including, but not limited to brand health, shopper insights, concept testing, etc.
  • Field surveys to gain insights that lead to brand, creative and innovation decisions
  • Generate reports and presentations to commercialize insights in a compelling way
  • Manage secondary research platforms related to shopper insights and social listening
  • Work cross-functionally to support ad-hoc research for the marketing, sales, and product development teams
  • Develop compelling selling stories with key insights


  • Bachelor's degree in business, market research, finance, statistics or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights or related field
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to work with large data sets, identify trends, draw conclusions, and create data driven recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop presentations and communicate recommendations to internal constituents across sales, marketing, product development and executive team
  • Experience utilizing primary research tools (Qualtrics, Suzy, SurveyMonkey or others)
  • Experience working with 3rd party point of sale data
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
