We are seeking an experienced and talented Channel Marketing Specialist, to oversee the unique needs of the channel's business, customer, and end consumer to create effective strategies that drive business growth for Skullcandy.

  • Be the best in the world at consideration and conversion by winning the hearts and minds of consumers through all (online and offline) retail touch-points.
  • Execute clear channel investments, providing a measurable ROI on all activities and spending
  • Align all channel messaging, assets and merchandising to increase demand for our products


  • Develop and distribute annual marketing calendar for all channels/ key retail partners.
  • Work with sales managers to develop and align on channel goals and strategies providing a measurable ROI 
  • Build and deliver retailer presentations to sell in new products, promotions and marketing activities
  • Understand the target market of each channel and retail partners to effectively communicate and execute marketing initiatives
  • Lead the strategy and delivery of all channel tactics, including, trade events, POS, digital etc.
  • Primary marketing contact for on-going needs of channel manager / retail partners.
  • Own distribution of employee training materials and training events for each channel
  • Provide ongoing feedback, market intelligence and competitive insight to brand and product marketing



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years previous channel marketing/ sales experience
  • Strong channel and customer awareness 
  • Takes initiative, ownership and accountability for channel's business
  • Confident and articulate when presenting ideas
  • Problem solver with strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Monitors trends and competition, establishing benchmarks
  • Communicates with all parties to strategically grow business
  • Assesses incremental opportunities for growth
  • Partners with stakeholders to improve processes
